Williams County Sheriff's Office holds countywide jurisdiction, however, previously existing local law enforcement agencies retain their own local jurisdictions. All 911 calls within the county are answered by the Williams County Sheriff's Office Division of Emergency Communications as the only qualified public safety answering point (PSAP) within the county. While some local jurisdictions maintain desk personnel within the station and answer their own seven digit lines all calls for service received by 911 are dispatched via radio by the WCSO Division of Emergency Communications via the municipal radio dispatch frequencies. WCSO Division of Emergency Communications handles all Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services dispatch throughout the county.

All public safety agencies within Williams County has access to Mobile Data Terminals for connection to the WCSO Computer Aided Dispatch system in their vehicles.
