This is a list of County Ordinances enforced by the Williams County Sheriff's Department as well as local law enforcement agencies within the county. These items are encoded into county law and are subject to fines and arrest as appropriate.

  • All residential and commercial alarm systems including but not limited to security alarms, fire alarms, or medical alert alarms must be registered with the Williams County Sheriff's Office Division of Emergency Communications. Any system that is found to not be registered or have up to date key holder/contact information on file are subject to fine.
  • All commercial properties and residential rental properties with four or more units on the premise must have a Knox box installed and registered with the Williams County Sheriff's Office Division of Emergency Communications. WCSO Emergency Communications will provide Knox box access via radio tone opening of boxes on fire department apparatus throughout the county.
